This is a song from the compilation album, Dark Was the Night, which was released in 2009. As of May 2012, this album had raised $1.6 million for the Red Hot Organization, an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to fighting aids though pop culture. The album features artists such as Yeasayer, the Decemberists, Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear, Sufjan Stevens, Arcade Fire, and SO MANY MORE! I LOVE this album, and I encourage you to buy it and give it a listen. 

You can donate and check out (and buy!) the music and other albums here. There is shit that’s alright to pirate and there is shit you should not pirate. This falls into the second category. Good music for a good cause.
